AOSSM Spring Fundraising Drive

Many AOSSM members make regular donations to the Society in support of programs including the Fellows Course, the Surgical Skills Assessment Program, Young Investigator Research Awards, Osteoarthritis Research, and other research grants. These activities are only possible because of generous donors, like you. With your help, AOSSM hopes to raise $40,000 by July 31 for these critical activities. We’re adding an element of fun in the form of a friendly competition between the regions and states represented on the AOSSM Council of Delegates.

Awards will be given for:

  • The region (see below) with the highest percentage of members who donate (members living and working outside the United States are recognized together as a single region)
  • The region that boasts the largest average donation, in dollars (members living and working outside the United States are recognized together as a single region)
  • The first state to achieve 100% participation from members (members living and working outside the United States are recognized together as a single unit, i.e. “state”)

Donations in any amount are welcome, from $10 to $10,000. You can direct your donation to a program that is important to you. And, if a friend or family member makes a donation in your honor, it will be recorded as a donation from you for the purpose of the competition.

Donations received between January 1 and July 31, 2023 will be counted as part of the donation drive. Winning regions will be announced in August.
