The Fellow Research Awards, formerly the Aircast Awards, were first presented in 1998. Awards are given to the best paper in Clinical Science and Basic Science, submitted by abstract from a sports medicine fellow, for the AOSSM Annual Meeting. The Fellowship Committee determines the award recipients.
Each recipient receives $1,500, an award plaque, and is asked to present their paper at the AOSSM Annual Meeting.
