This award, established by the American Orthopaedic Society for Sports Medicine (AOSSM) in November of 2015, recognizes outstanding research presented at the AOSSM Annual Meeting related to youth sports injury prevention, treatment, or rehabilitation. The winner is selected by AOSSM's STOP Sports Injuries Outreach Committee and receives a $1,000 award and plaque.
