About the Scholarship

This scholarship was founded in 2022 in honor of Bruce Reider, MD and his contributions to the medical publishing community. It is open to US Sports Medicine Fellows with a strong interest in journal peer review and publishing and is awarded prior to the AOSSM Annual Meeting.

Recipients of the award receive:

• Full AOSSM Annual Meeting registration, airfare, meal stipend, and hotel accommodations
• Commemorative award presented at the AOSSM Annual Meeting Medical Publishing Group Awards Dinner
• Invitation to the AJSM Editorial Board meeting at the AOSSM Annual Meeting
• Complimentary AOSSM 1-year membership
• Inclusion as AJSM/OJSM reviewer and 1-year mentorship by Editor-in-Chief Dr. Bruce Reider
