As the society champion for orthopaedic sports medicine fellowship programs, AOSSM, in collaboration with AANA, sponsors the prestigious fellowship match and proactively collaborates with fellowship programs and the ACGME to ensure fellows receive top-level training and education.
Through AOSSM, sports medicine fellows are afforded access to best-in-class education, programming and exposure to leaders in the field who are passionate about education, training and mentorship. Upon completion of an ACGME-accredited fellowship program, fellows are eligible to sit for the Subspecialty Certificate in Orthopaedic Sports Medicine issued by the American Board of Orthopaedic Surgery.
