Housing Information

Housing for the AOSSM Annual Meeting is available online via OnPeak who is the AOSSM’s official housing company. For group blocks (9 or more rooms), please click here. Rooms at the discounted AOSSM rates can sell quickly so be sure to book your hotel early for the best selection and price. The Westin Harbour Castle, Fairmont Royal York and Delta are all included in the meeting block. All scientific sessions and exhibits will be held in the South Building at the Metro Toronto Convention Centre. 

Important Note

AOSSM has designated onPeak as the only official housing provider for the AOSSM Meeting. There are companies and organizations that will try to present themselves as official partners of the AOSSM Annual Meeting and offer you potential room reservations that might not be guaranteed or available. Again, onPeak is the only official housing provider for the AOSSM 2017 Annual Meeting.

Travel Information

Official Airline
Air Canada is the Official Canadian Airline for the AOSSM Annual Meeting. Air Canada is offering special discounts, depending on the fare class, to attendees traveling to the meeting. To book your ticket visit and enter promo code R9GZUC81.

Union Pearson (UP) Express
The UP Express is a dedicated express rail service connecting Union Station to Toronto Pearson International Airport, departing every 15 minutes. Fares vary depending on your  destination and type of pass purchased. The ride is approximately 25 minutes from the airport to Union Station which is located between the Fairmont Hotel and Convention Centre. Visit for ticketing options.

From each airport to the Convention Centre and AOSSM designated hotels:

• Billy Bishop City Airport: $10-$12

As a reminder, the United States Department of State and Homeland Security’s announcement of the Western Hemisphere Travel Initiative states that all US citizens, Canadians, citizens of the British Overseas Territory of Bermuda and citizens of Mexico must obtain a passport or another accepted secure document to enter or re-enter the United States. 

Children 15 years of age and under are now required to show proof of citizenship. They are not required to show photo ID. If you are traveling with children, you should carry identification for each child. Divorced parents who share custody of their children should carry copies of the legal custody documents.

U.S. dollars are accepted in most Toronto establishments, although you will receive change in Canadian funds and exchange rates will vary from merchant to merchant.
