AOSSM/POSNA Pediatrics Surgical Skills Course

AOSSM/POSNA Pediatrics Surgical Skills Course
Learn the latest techniques and explore controversies in growing athletes with this blended learning course dedicated to improving surgical skills in joint preservation and physeal respecting approaches. This course is perfect for orthopaedic sports medicine surgeons at all career stages keen to learn the most up-to-date techniques, pearls, and research from leading pediatric orthopaedic surgeons. The blended learning structure eliminates the all-day Friday coursework and provides pre-recorded lecture presentations accessible prior to the course to give you the freedom to review the content at your own pace. Plus, it reduces the amount of time spent away from your practice. Friday evening will be spent focusing on the latest updates from the Bear Trial, ROCKS, FACTS, and JUPITER, plus we will have lively debates on isolated ACL and PFI with Trochlear dysplasia. Then Saturday, roll up your sleeves and enjoy the full day of hands-on skills training in the cadaver lab, where you will sharpen your surgical skills in Meniscus, ACL, Patella Instability and OCD. The information and competencies that you acquire this weekend will be immediately impactful to your practice. Don’t miss out…register today!

This course offers you the opportunity to not only hear from the experts in pediatric sports medicine but also get practical hands-on experience in the lab. With this knowledge you will be able to go back to your patients/athletes and design a plan that will get them healthy and back onto the field.
