Disclosures

AOSSM Disclosure Program

AOSSM is accredited by the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education (ACCME) to provide continuing medical education for physicians. AOSSM must show that everyone who is in a position to control the content of an education activity has disclosed all financial relationships with any commercial interest to AOSSM.

All disclosure information provided to AOSSM will be reviewed to ensure that no conflicts of interest exist prior to the confirmation of the individual for the educational assignment. Additional information may be requested. It is the responsibility of the individual to notify AOSSM of any changes in the disclosure information.

Disclosure Guidelines

If you have a relationship with a commercial interest, you can do one of the following:

1. List the relationships on the second slide of your presentation, i.e. “The following relationships with commercial interests related to this presentation existed during the past 12 months:”
2. Refer learners to the disclosure listing in the final, onsite program.

If you have no relationships to disclose, you may either list that on your second slide or refer learners to the disclosure listing in the final, onsite program.
