Where and when is the AOSSM Annual Meeting 2020?
At the Washington State Convention Center located at 705 Pike Street in Seattle, Washington from July 9 – 12, 2020.
When is the early bird cut-off date?
Monday, April 20, 2020. The advance registration discount will run through Monday, June 15, 2020. After this date, standard fees will apply.
What is the cost to attend the Annual Meeting?
Pricing for the Annual Meeting varies depending on your registration category and the date you register. Pricing information can be found here.
What’s included with my registration?
Your registration fee includes all continental breakfasts, coffee breaks, receptions, registration materials and educational sessions. Instructional Courses can be added on for an additional fee.
May I just register for one day of the Annual Meeting?
Yes. You may opt for a single day registration, which allows access to all educational sessions and the exhibit hall on the day selected.
I would only like to attend the Sports Health Symposium, is this possible?
Yes, by selecting Sports Health Symposium Only on the registration packages page. If you later change your mind and would like to attend both the AOSSM Annual Meeting and the Sports Health Symposium, you can log back into your registration through the Resource Center to update. If attending the AOSSM Annual Meeting, there is no additional fee for the Sports Health Symposium.
Does my AOSSM annual meeting registration include admittance to Instructional Courses?
No. There is an additional fee for all Instructional Courses, which can be added on during online registration.
I registered, but I'd like to add additional events to my registration. How can I do that?
You can return directly to the registration website by accessing your Resource Center to edit your current registration. You may also contact AOSSM at 847-292-4900 or email@example.com for assistance.
I registered, but have not received a confirmation. How do I get another one sent to me?
You can log back into your registration and send through your Resource Center, or you may contact AOSSM at 847-292-4900 or firstname.lastname@example.org.
How will I receive my badge once registered?
You may pick up your badge on Level 4 of the Washington State Convention Center during posted registration hours. A government issued photo I.D. is required. It is recommended (but not required) that you bring your email confirmation along with you to expedite the badge printing process. AOSSM does not mail any badges in advance.
Do you have to be registered for the Annual Meeting before you can book your hotel in the official AOSSM block?
No. Hotel rooms can be booked at the AOSSM rate before registering for the meeting. We encourage booking in advance as hotel rooms fill up fast. You can safely book your hotel room now here.
How do I become an AOSSM member to receive the member rate?
You must first apply for AOSSM membership. Details can be located here. Select which category you are applying for and complete the application listed under each.
I need a letter in order to obtain a Visa. Whom do I contact?
You may request a letter of invitation during the online registration process and will be prompted after you enter your country.
Is there a registration category for spouses, families and personal guests?
Yes. Guests will need to be added to your registration during the online process using the “Guest” functionality prior to checking out. Guests will be allowed access to the opening reception, family party, presidential guest speaker and general sessions. Additional tickets should be added to your registration for the Welcome Reception and Family Event if they are attending with you. Any guests under 21 years old must be accompanied by an adult.
You can add guests and/or guest tickets for events at any time after completing your registration by returning to the Resource Center.
Is there an age limit at the AOSSM Annual Meeting or events?
No, but those under the age of 21 must be accompanied by an adult.
What are the exhibit hall hours?
The exhibit hall will be open on Thursday, July 9 from 10:00 am – 5:00 pm; on Friday, July 10 from 11:30 am – 6:00 pm and on Saturday, July 11 from 10:00 am – 1:30 pm.*

What is the AOSSM 2020 Annual Meeting cancellation policy?
If a registrant wishes to cancel their registration for the 2020 Annual Meeting, the following goes into effect.
Registrations, less a $150 processing fee, are refundable only if a cancellation notice is submitted to email@example.com on or before Friday, June 5, 2020. Registration fees for cancellations received after Friday, June 5, 2020 are not refundable. All refunds will be issued back to the original payment type.
Please note: Registration cancellations will not automatically cancel your hotel reservation. Any changes to your hotel reservation will need to be made directly through the AOSSM official block here.
Hotel Changes and Cancellations
Accommodation reservations may be cancelled, or arrival and departure dates may be changed, until Friday, June 5, 2020 without charge. After this date, the reservation is subject to a one-night room and tax deposit that is non-refundable. Changes can be made directly through the AOSSM official room block here
Please note: Cancelling your hotel reservation does not automatically cancel your meeting registration. To cancel your meeting registration, please submit your request to firstname.lastname@example.org
What happens in the event the AOSSM Annual Meeting is cancelled? How would refunds be reimbursed?
Meeting Cancellation by AOSSM
AOSSM reserves the right to cancel or reschedule the 2020 Annual Meeting or any programs and to close registration when programs are sold out. Should the AOSSM 2020 Annual Meeting be cancelled, your registration fees will be refunded in full. Should circumstances arise that result in the postponement of the 2020 Annual Meeting, AOSSM has the right to either issue a full refund or transfer registration to the same meeting at the new, future date. AOSSM will not be responsible for reimbursement of any participant’s travel expenses related to the cancellation or postponement of an event. Attendees are encouraged to purchase personal travel insurance.
