AOSSM and AANA Unite for Five-Year Specialty Day Partnership

The American Orthopaedic Society for Sports Medicine (AOSSM) and the Arthroscopy Association of North America (AANA) are pleased to announce a five-year Specialty Day partnership to be held at the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons (AAOS) Annual Meeting.  

Under the leadership of AOSSM President Dean C. Taylor, M.D. (2023-2024) and AANA President Alan Curtis, M.D. (2024-2025), FAANA, the two influential organizations have decided to merge their expertise and present a unified agenda for the Specialty Day programs from 2026-2030.  

This strategic collaboration will significantly benefit the vast number of orthopaedic surgeons specializing in sports medicine and performing arthroscopic and minimally invasive orthopaedic procedures. Attendees can look forward to an agenda filled with presentations from world-renowned experts and leaders in the field, combining the strengths of both organizations to deliver top-tier education content.
