Affiliate members are: physicians, surgeons or allied professionals not qualifying for other membership categories who are interested in or contributing to the knowledge of sports medicine. These applicants must be practicing in current location for at least two years.
Affiliate Members may apply for membership in accordance with these bylaws, and the rules, procedures and other uniform criteria adopted from time to time by the Membership Committee, subject to approval of the Board of Directors.
Affiliate members are not eligible to vote, hold office in the Society or serve on the Board of Directors. They may act in an advisory capacity and unless specified otherwise may serve on committees with vote.

Your application is not complete until the Society office has received your sponsor letters, completed team forms/letters, completed application and application fee. If you have additional questions regarding membership, please contact the Membership Department.
