Socioeconomic and Health Policy Survey
Due to changes in the economic environment and governmental efforts to address the issues of cost, coverage and reform, the AOSSM Health Policy & Ethics
Committee was interested in conducting a survey among its members to evaluate the effects of these changes on our members' practices, purchasing decisions,
continuing education choices, and the role AOSSM should play in health policy issues. The survey results are being used to help the Society identify member
interests, concerns and priorities in order to focus energies and resources on the socioeconomic and health policy issues most important to members;
ultimately helping members prepare for future market shifts and their impact on their practices.

Sports and Orthopaedic Practice Survey
The primary objective of the survey (2005) was to gather statistical information related to patient care and team service, covering topics such as the
number and types of patients, number of operative cases, and types of teams served. The results will help members understand some of the differences and
similarities between their own professional activities and those of other members.
