Society has initiated The AOSSM Multi-Center ACL Revision Study
(MARS), utilizing a grant from the Musculoskeletal Transplant
Foundation (MTF). The study will evaluate outcome for patients
undergoing revision ACL surgery and examine the predictors of outcome.
Vanderbilt Universitys Kurt Spindler, MD, will serve as project director
while members of the AOSSM Research Committee and additional consultants
will comprise the planning committee.
The MARS project has been approved by the IRB of the central coordinating site
(Vanderbilt University). Participating sites may begin collecting data once the enrollment
requirements (see document below) have been met and the surgeon agreement letter (also available
below) has been returned. All other forms for this study can be downloaded below.
Interested members or those with questions should contact project director
Kurt Spindler (kurt.spindler@vanderbilt.edu),
