September 2009

Dear AOSSM Vendor Partner,

I am honored to serve as the 2009/10 President of AOSSM and I am pleased to invite you to join our team as a sponsor in the coming year. AOSSM is a world leader in sports medicine education, research, communication and fellowship. In that capacity, we serve our members, the broader sports medicine community, and most importantly, our patients. Without question, the outstanding support of our corporate partners has played a key role in AOSSM’s many accomplishments.

As we look to the future, we take a moment to pause and reflect on the tremendous impact that our Society has had on orthopaedic sports medicine throughout the years. We are a society of surgeons who are trained in the comprehensive treatment of athletes at the professional, Olympic, collegiate and community levels. Our members represent a highly effective group of key decision makers representing the United States, Canada, Europe, South America and Asia. AOSSM provides programs of the highest caliber that enhance our ability to care for the athlete at every point on the sports continuum. Through research and advances in surgical and rehabilitation techniques, we are able to treat athletes today whose injuries were once career-ending.

On behalf of the AOSSM Board of Directors, I want to express my most sincere appreciation to all of our sponsors. If you are new to AOSSM, we invite your company to be a part of this prestigious organization by becoming a sponsor of our 2009/10 activities through an unrestricted educational grant to AOSSM. Alternately, if your organization is a corporate partner with the Orthopaedic Research and Education Foundation (OREF), you can support one of these activities by directing your contribution

to AOSSM through OREF. In this way, your support will be recognized by both organizations. As a sponsor, you will gain exposure to and recognition from AOSSM members who are leaders in their field. You will also benefit from outstanding opportunities to interact with them in scientific, business and social environments. Your partnership will demonstrate to our members and to the larger orthopaedic community your commitment to sports medicine.

To join our impressive list of sponsors or to receive further information, please contact Debbie Cohen, AOSSM Director of Corporate Relations, at 847/251-6288 or dcohen226@aol.com.

Sincerely,

James R. Andrews, MD
