MARS Project 

The Society initiated the Multi-Center ACL Revision Study (MARS), utilizing a grant from the Musculoskeletal Transplant Foundation (MTF). The study is evaluating the outcome for patients undergoing revision ACL surgery and examining the predictors of outcome. Rick Wright, MD of Washington University is serving as project director with members of the AOSSM Research Committee and additional consultants comprising the planning committee.  New patient enrollment ended in July, 2011 with over 1200 patients assessed.  The patients will be followed for at least two years after revision surgery.
