Emeritus Membership

Emeritus Members are: any Active Member or Affiliate Member who has reached the age of 65 and is no longer engaged in active medical practice by reason of age or health may request a transfer to Emeritus Membership. Such requests shall be in writing to the Secretary of the Society who will submit the request to the Board of Directors for its consideration and approval. Emeritus Members are not eligible to vote, hold office, serve as a member of the Board of Directors but may act in an advisory capacity and unless specified otherwise serve on committees with vote.
