  • ACCME/BOC Accreditation

    ACCME Accreditation

    AOSSM is accredited by the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education (ACCME). The ACCME accredits more than 2,000 organizations and institutions who provide continuing medical education (CME).

    AOSSM follows ACCME accreditation standards; our educational activities are designed to be independent, free of commercial bias, and based on valid content. Physicians participating in AOSSM CME activities are able pursue their own practice-based learning and improvement. Accredited CME also helps physicians meet requirements for maintenance of certification and maintenance of licensure.

     

    BOC

    AOSSM is a Board of Certification (BOC) Approved Provider and can award continuing education (CE) credit to athletic trainers who participate in our educational activities. The BOC regularly reviews CE courses and activities designed to help athletic trainers advance their knowledge, skills, and abilities. Participation in these educational activities assists athletic trainers in maintaining their BOC certification.
