Taste of Chicago will be held from July 10-14 in Grant Park which is approximately a 10 minute walk from the Sheraton Chicago. This event started in 1980, and is the nation's premier outdoor food festival showcasing the diversity of Chicago's dining community. Not only is there a delicious array of food served, but also free music and other entertainment for the entire family. The event runs daily from about 11am-9pm. To purchase food tickets or learn more about the event visit the Taste of Chicago site. Take advantage of the free admission to this fun event while you are here for the AOSSM Meeting.
Housing Information
A block of rooms has been reserved at the Sheraton Chicago at a group rate of $249 single and double occupancy. Reservations may be made by calling 800-233-4100 or 312-329-7000. Specify that you are attending the AOSSM Annual Meeting.
The Sheraton Chicago is sold out of the AOSSM block on some of the meeting days, therefore a list of suggested alternative nearby housing for AOSSM Annual Meeting is available for download here. None of the hotels listed are more than .2 miles from the Sheraton. If the block is sold out you will not be charged the $150 fee to stay elsewhere.
